Week 14 -part 1

I can't really believe that little Pierce is already 3.5 months old!! It's too weird. It seems like we were JUST praying for a baby. This week she looked super adorable in this little Asian-inspired outfit and we talked about how cousin Annie in Malaysia has a red outfit that she wears on Malaysian holidays and that we think cousin Elle has one too! She is holding her head up better and better and jabbering more and more. She is loving Peter more and more each day... just grins at him anytime he enters a room and stares forever. She loves to look out the front window with him like this pic.

week 13

Emi posted that we should mention Pierce's famous blowouts. My previously dainty, uneventful daughter has begun creating quite a ruckus in her britches. Luckily we've been at home for 2 of the 3 of these. The 1st, however, was at a church missions dinner. Just as the speaker was getting going, he paused for a breath and she blew up her diaper SO loudly that the entire house erupted in laughter. I am not well-versed on the etiquette for public baby blowouts, so I said "excuse her" and laughed with the rest before I excused us to change the nastiness.

This week she had lots of good play time... she likes being held a lot, but gets REALLY excited to lay on her back and kick around. She loves to stretch out :) She also had a fun time with "auntie" Trisha at Jay's birthday party.

Week 12

This week was full of fun as usual. Many people have said Pierce is turning into a little girl... perhaps, but I can't handle it!! :) Her schedules are changing, so she is definitely growing and changing. Work for me has been ok. I often get to go feed her around lunchtime and get back to her before her 1st evening feeding, so it's not ALL day everyday. This week's pictures include the beautiful christening gown my mom just made her, meeting cousin Megan, some Okra and Dooba time, and a video of a little baby jibberish. Also, Peter is starting to cook for us, once a week, and there is a pic of his 1st go of it... it was delicious!!!

Week 11

This week we had tons of fun with sweet Pierce! She tried on a tutu from sweet friend Taylor, passed out on her changing table and went to Mobile with me and Mama Dooba. There are pics of the hotel bath, sleeping in a big bed, passed out on the changing table and the tutu. She's grabbing stuff and holding on and starting to talk more and more. Growing like a weed!

Week 10, part 2

We are more and more in love each day. I LOVE watching Peter love her. He's such a sweet daddy... most of the smile pictures were taken by him, which shows you just how much she smiles at him! Pierce went to see a few customers with me today, and all of these sleeping pics are from the evening after- she was exhausted. The bathrobe is just plain cute. I HAVE tried to post videos on the last few posts, and it hasn't worked. I will persevere!!!

Week 10, part one

This week was hard for Momma with going back to work, but it's the best possible scenario for a working mom. Pierce already seems to love Emi (her nanny) and will do wonderfully with her. It's just the mom we have to worry about not falling apart :)

This weekend we went to Chuck E Cheese for friend Aubrey's 2nd birthday and we read some nursery rhymes.Momma Dooba and Grandaddy visited Saturday, as did Bana.

She's getting better and better at tummy time, loves her bath and has started getting the "crazy eyes" when the camera flashes.
