Flip Burger Boutique

Peter and I went to the U2 concert in ATL Tuesday night. It was a great concert, no surprise, and a great night. We went to dinner first, with Hagen and John. We dined at this really great burger joint called Flip Burger Boutique. It was very sleek and modern with shiny white tables and tall metal chairs, flat screen tv's behind the bar with chunky white picture frames around them. The food was fantabulous. The Southern Burger, which John and I had, consisted of a lightly breaded and fried burger with pimento cheese and homemade pickles. I had tempura battered butternut squash with chocolate salt. I realize that sounds like the most unhealthy thing ever, but it was worth every calorie, I assure you! Hagen had a farm burger, which was organic beef and Peter had the bacon cheeseburger. I enjoyed a pear martini and a peach sweet tea, which involved peach schnapps and firefly liqueur. For dessert.... oh. my heavens. I had a nutella milkshake, Hagen a white chocolate pistachio and John a Krispy Kreme. That's right folks. Krispy Kreme in milkshake form. I hear that one of these delightful dining venues is coming to the Summit in December and all I have to say is SIGN ME UP!!!!
